Java Programmer

A candidate hired for this position will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the redGrid platform – Poland’s biggest system managing smart energy meters in modern Smart Grid networks. The platform allows for remote data reading, monitoring of low voltage networks’ condition, device parameterisation and sharing measurement data to billing systems and the Energy Market. The AMI project, based on Java EE technology, is being pursued in our company from the ground up.


  • Higher education- computer science major or other akin (mathematics/ physics etc),
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in Java language commercial programming,
  • Acquaintance with the Spring Boot platform,
  • Acquaintance with relational databases usage,
  • Command of Maven and GIT tools,
  • Open-mindedness, fast learning skills, desire for professional development.
  • Experience in microservice architecture usage,
  • Command of Java EE technology and application servers (e. g. WebLogic)
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript and HTML.

The team working on the AMI project consists of: Team Leader, Project Manager, Back-end, Front-end and C++ Programmers, Testers and Analysts. Additionally the team is supported by an administrative panel and technical support engineers (DevOps).
