Aim of the project

The aim of the project is to develop and implement a prototype of an IT system supporting maintenance decisions. An integral part of the system will be artificial intelligence algorithms and machine learning, which will allow for process innovation consisting in optimizing the frequency of repairs and inspections of infrastructure elements based on system recommendations. Based on the monitored parameters of the infrastructure and external data, the system will be able to estimate the condition of each device and issue recommendations for maintenance activities. Thanks to the monitoring of the current condition of the devices, maintenance decisions will be made on the basis of the real condition of the infrastructure. The implementation of the system will enable the detection of probable failures, thanks to which it will be possible to conduct a preventive inspection before the device failure occurs. Reducing the number of failures will positively affect the quality of services provided by PKP Energetyka S.A. for the benefit of external entities. In addition, the material consumption will be reduced, and thus the costs of maintenance processes.
