A candidate hired for this position will be responsible for the development of TStorage – a NoSQL database, created from scratch in our company, dedicated to processing and storing measurement data from IoT devices.
Requirements:
- graduate of mathematics, physics, or computer science,
- documented achievements (preferably scientific) indicating proficiency in selected concepts from distributed systems theory, algebra, or mathematical analysis,
- knowledge of issues related to distributed systems:
- temporal logic (TLA+),
- I/O automata, object types/abstractions such as: registers, snapshot, broadcast, consensus,
- abstractions characterizing process/node and connection failures,
- differences between (partially) synchronous and asynchronous systems,
- theorems limiting possible implementations.

- Slack.
Tasks:
- participating in the creation of algorithms solving distributed systems problems,
- analyzing the correctness of algorithms created in the team,
- writing scientific papers.
