Atende Industries submitted a project in a CHP Plant of the future contest.

Atende Industries in a consortium with Energoprojekt Katowice and PEC Końskie submitted a project in the second stage of the NCBiR (National Center for Research and Development) contest regarding a creation of a reference project of innovative CHP plant in a local energy system.

Within the first stage of the contest, the consortium built an optimal model of the electro thermal system, which will deliver its recipients heat and electric energy produced from at least 80% of renewable sources, as well as conduct an array of numerical and economic analysis for a developed model, develop algorithms for an intelligent system of managing energy production and develop a feasibility study. Currently the Consortium applies for a place in the second stage of the contest, where they will receive financing for the pursuit of the project, that is building a replicable demonstrant of technology on the PEC in Końskie area.

The project developed by the Consortium assumes modernisation of parts of the heating and energy system in Końskie in such a way that thermal and electric energy could be supplied both by the renewable energy sources for the project’s needs, and available in a local energy community. The implementation is to ensure green thermal and electric energy for 600 apartments, and additionally serve for prosumer’s activation and create a local energy market thanks to energy cooperative empanelling.

Within a project submitted by the Consortium a pursuit of innovative solutions has been planned i.a a seasonal heat storage, installation of a water electrolyzer along with storages of green hydrogen, which will be used for storage of thermal and electric energy produced by renewable sources. The management of the system and assuring of its stability will be pursued by the managing platform besmart.energy developed for many years by Atende Industries. Besmart.energy is a cloud Big Data type platform storing in real time data from measurement devices, based on artificial intelligence’s methods of optimisation of energy consumption and making decisions regarding energy purchases and device steering.
