National Research & Development Center has announced the evaluation results for projects submitted for support under the KPO “IPCEI-CIS” development plan. This assessment is the final stage of the Important Project of Common European Interest – Cloud Infrastructure and Services (IPCEI-CIS) initiative, aimed at advancing cloud and edge technologies of strategic significance for the EU, facilitating its digital independence. Atende Industries’ project has been selected for support.
In December 2023, the TStorage project received notification from the European Commission, and Atende Industries obtained Direct-Partner status alongside 18 European technology companies (including Deutsche Telekom, Siemens, Orange, and SAP).
The funding amount is 19 million PLN, with the project’s total value at 24 million PLN. The project will be completed until mid-2026.
TStorage is a NoSQL database for BigData systems, gathering data from IoT devices. It enables to store time series data various market sectors like smart grid, Industry 4.0, and space exploration. TStorage is a bacis component of Atende Industries’ competitive advantage, enabling efficient processing of vast datasets in real-time, including data from smart energy meters.
“I am incredibly proud that after many years of work, we have succeeded in securing funding under IPCEI-CIS for the development of the TStorage database. It is worth emphasizing that TStorage is a technology that can be described as fundamental, and I believe it will be used as the foundation for many cloud applications and services worldwide. There is still a lot of work ahead of us, but IPCEI-CIS demonstrates that European companies still have something to say in the high-tech market,” says Paweł Pisarczyk, CEO of Atende Industries.
