UPGRID project (ended)

UPGRID project

Atende Software (currently Atende Industries) is implementing a research and development project entitled “Real proven solutions to enable active demand and distributed generation flexible integration, through a fully controllable LOW Voltage and medium voltage distribution grid”. The UPGRID project is carried out as part of the European Union’s Research and Development Program Horizon 2020, under grant No. 646.531.

More information about the project can be found at: upgrid.eu

Atende Software is implementing a research and development project entitled besmart.energy – a platform for managing energy clusters “with the number POIR.01.02.00-00-0340 / 16, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under Measure 1.2” Sector R&D programs “under Priority Axis I” Support for work R&D by enterprises “of the Intelligent Development Operational Program 2014-2020.

Description of a project

The aim of the project is to build the besmart.energy system, which is a set of innovative technical measures, the use of which will enable the autonomy of users in the production and acquisition of electricity. The use of besmart.energy will lead to increased competitiveness on the Polish energy market. As part of the Project, a comprehensive solution for energy clusters will be implemented to manage: effective use of own energy sources, including renewable sources, effective use of electricity (demand), forecasting electricity consumption and production for the optimization of energy purchases, distributed energy storage and network operation energy. During the Project, research and development works will be carried out on electricity metering devices, storage and processing of large data sets, the so-called Big Data, modeling of weather phenomena affecting energy production by RES. The software will implement artificial intelligence algorithms that will be used to support the processes of analysis and inference from data.
